Miané & Francois

Miané & Francois came to stay with us for a  weekend  to experience the farm and brought their furry friend along. A lot of people don't have the time to spend on the farm when they come to look, but these two managed to walk around and see all that we have to offer. They loved the rustic atmosphere of the venue and were quick to say yes to their dream wedding weekend at Langdam.

 

These two (as well as their parents!) were so easy going and a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. The wedding guest list was around 50 people which allowed it to be an intimate affair with close friends. Everyone was very relaxed and excited to celebrate with the couple.

The wedding decor complimented the rustic charm of the old barn perfectly, with neutral greys, bare wooden tables and gorgeous white and vintage pink flowers. The ceremony decor also had that vintage feel which worked beautifully with the brides dress which was lace had a wonderful old world feel.

​

Guests enjoyed some lovely Canapés and cocktails after the ceremony while the couple went off to take their pictures. They were the first couple to have their photographs taken in the Apricot Orchard while the trees were blossoming. The result was magical!

For dinner everyone enjoyed a buffet meal of boerekos type food, having a variety of delicious meal options. The main meat options being deboned pork neck and rustic chicken pie, a nice change from the traditional lamb.

There was also a table of mini deserts and and cake for after dinner

Everyone hit the dance floor and we even got to see them doing some line dancing!
